Is it Monday Yet?

Man! I'm gonna need to go to work to get a break from this weekend!!!

Best thing that happened was that the gallery was fixed by noon on Friday just in time to start our NSD Cyber Crop! And the crop has been going well so far considering a lot of the faculty was away at their own NSD stuff and whatnot! I've been seeing some great stuff added to our newly updated gallery! Woohoo!

Yesterday we left the house at 7:25 for the baseball parade, got home at about 9:30. Then turned around and left again at 11:15 for a baseball and soccer game (at the same time)! Then ran home to get Jake for his baseball game that he had to be at at 2:15. We got home at 5pm! Very long day! By this point I had a killer headache but since Michael had been gone since Friday he wanted to take the boys fishing for a bit so I snuck down to my room to fit in a page. It came out pretty cute considering I was limited on what to use! I did the Creativity Jar challenge and could only use Red, Paint, and Beads. Here is the page.

So this morning I put up the last of my sketches, and my final challenge. Now I'm off to clean the house, take Jake to practice at 12:30 and hopefully get some more scrapping in this afternooon! That's gonna be a huge stretch tho!

No Time for Bloggin!

Man! Even with rain all week sports are killing me. Soccer Monday, one cancellation and one game in the cold mist so far. Then we have more Friday, the baseball parade on Sat am, then Soccer and Baseball at the same time, then another baseball game in the afternoon. I need a clone! My mom is going to the soccer game and I'm going to the baseball game since Michael will be out of town until Saturday afternoon sometime. Then we have another practice on Sunday. No breaks for these kids. You'd think they were playing pro or something!!! Jeesh!

Well one thing, money talks! Money on two software upgrades and an installation package and we may get the gallery up by the end of the week I hope!!! We have a cyber crop planned for this weekend and I'd like for everyone to be able to use it! I know I haven't been scrapping so I don't need it but everyone else does! LOL! Thank goodness for good patient members!

Good Thing I Color My Hair...

...or it would be completely gray or maybe even all pulled out by now!!! I have done absolutely nothing but work, sports and try to get 123 back to normal!!! We still don't have a gallery and not the chatroom is down too! What's up with that?! I used to have someone to help me out with these MySQL and PHP issues but not anymore so I'm left to do it on my own with the help of the server tech support people. NOT FUN! I am so close to saying the heck with it but at the same time I don't want those hackers getting the best of me! I'm not sure what I'll do if it's not back up by today.

On a better note, Jake had a great day of sports on Saturday, first there was soccer where they tied but he did a great job as goalie not letting anyone score on him. Then right on to a baseball game (changing in the car) where he struck out two players in the inning he pitched, had two great hits and made an awesome out! I took about 150 photos between the two games! As if I don't have any soccer and baseball photos to scrap already!

Josh has his first baseball game tonight weather permitting. Can't wait to see how that goes! LOL!

And to close, how about those RED SOX!!!! What a game last night! I watched pieces of it while working and working on the site and man I got to see some good stuff! Windy and Ortiz still get's a 3 run homer! And then to have Pap catch it! Man that was awesome! And gotta love those fans booing Damon! I would have probably got thrown out for throwing something at the traitor! I wonder when he'll learn money isn't everything! HA! Who am I kidding, if I had money my thoughts might be different! Anyway, hoping they will keep up the winning streak against the Yanks! Go SOX!!!

Still Down!

Yep the site is still down. We found the problem and were back up for all of about 10 minutes yesterday but now we have a full disk! Now how that happened with just a software upgrade is beyond me! I pretty much can't get in there to do anything because of a full disk and I'm afraid to delete the wrong thing! I spent all morning on the phone with the server and software companies and then they supposedly fixed it but looks like it's worse than it was other than no viruses! Can this week get any better? Gonna have to do some more phone time today! At least I can work and talk at the same time, God Bless Multi-tasking!

I HATE HACKERS!!!!!

Man when it rains it pours! I have not been having a good time of it lately but I'm trying to stay upbeat and not let it get me down. Then this morning I got a call from Andrea saying that 123-Scrap has been hacked! Darn hackers sent out email to all my members with a trojan virus attachment AND hacked into my forums and put a virus there too! Man mean people stink! They get their jollies out of making other people's lives miserable! How could a person be like that? All I've got to say is that hopefully what goes around comes around to whoever did this to me and anyone else they have hacked in the past! Hopefully I'll get it fixed soon and be back to normal. Send good thoughts my way if you can spare them please!

Oh Happy Day!!!

We booked our summer rental! We are going to Martha's Vineyard this year!!! I can't believe that after 15 years of going to York Beach, Maine every summer we are going someplace different! I have NEVER been to the cape in the summer! I've been told so many times about the horrific traffic and such that I've stayed away. Heck I've only been to the Cape twice in my life and both times in March! I can't wait for July and to be going somewhere different! WOOHOO!!!

OK, here is digital layout with my new favorite digi kit. It's called Oh Boy by Kelly Schultz. I bought it at www.thedigichick.com. It's got my second favorite color combo and paisley!! I just love this kit!

Rainy Monday!

I hate Monday's! And when you wake up and it's raining that just makes it all the worse! Granted I guess if I have to work I'd rather it be raining when I'm at work but the kids are on Spring Break this week and that means that they have to spend the whole day cooped up inside at the DayCare. Well hopefully they don't go too crazy after spending a whole day inside yesterday due to rain too!

I scrapped yesterday! Not for very long and only got a few pages done and no cards for soldiers! Man I have got to get my behind moving on the cards for the Father's Day shippment! I have made three cards and none of them are Father's Day themed! Can you tell I'm not a card maker? ;) There are girls on the site that are whipping them out in the hundreds and I can't even make 10! I have no clue how they do it!

Sports have started in full swing in our house. We had soccer Tuesday, baseball Wed and Thurs, and then Soccer and Baseball all day Saturday and that is how it's going to be until the end of June! Can you say goodbye to my free time! Good news is that Jake scored a goal in their first game on Sat! Of course I was teaching back to back classes at the LSS so I wasn't there to see it but Way to Go Jake! Be prepared to see lots more sports layouts from me in the near future! ;)

Easter Candy Be Gone!!!

Man I can't stop eating Jelly Beans! And Cadbury Mini Eggs! I swear if I haven't gained 10 pounds this week I'll be amazed! I can't wait till all this candy is gone! I should just let the boys eat as much as they want and be done with it so I won't be tempted anymore! LOL!

Here's my new favorite photo! Michael finally let me take his picture. This is also a layout I'm entering in a little contest Gina Miller is having using her Garden Treasures collection. This one uses her Tomato Basil kit. Love it! I also used some of her fun glitter borders and also some elements from her Build Your Own Bulletin Board kit. Very fun stuff. Oh and of course the brushes I can't get enough of by Michelle Coleman. Very simple page but love the colors and of course didn't want to take away from that photo! I will definitely be paper scrapping this one in a 5x7! ;)

I took this photo on Easter at my Godmother's house. So of course he was all dressed up in his Easter best and looked so handsome! Not that he doesn't look handsome all the time but he's not usually dressed up! I really should have had someone take a family photo!

Marathon Monday

Yep, it's Patriots Day and the 100 something running of the Boston Marathon. Another one that I will not get to see since I don't have the day off! Jodee Messina is running in this one so she's who I'm watching! Oh and a guy I work with's twin brother is also running so I'll route for him in the Men's category. Not that either one of them are in the front runners but that's OK!

So Easter was great yesterday! Hope everyone else enjoyed their holiday too! I myself ate way too much! Did great for the actual dinner part but then blew it all away when dessert came out! The darn macaroons and strawberry whipped cream cake did me in. Oh and I must of eaten half a bowl of chips and dip in between! So can you say, NO JUNK FOOD to me today! I have got to get myself back on the diet bandwagon and quick! Summer is coming! That means shorts and bathing suit weather!!! UGH!!! It was great to see lots of family and take lots of fun pictures! I even got all the little kids to sit on the couch at once for a photo! 6 of them all in a row! And I think 5 of them were looking at the camera! Haven't downloaded them yet but I'm pretty sure it looks darn cute! Looking foward to scrapping that one and especially the one of the two girls in their pretty Easter dresses!! :)

I Have Pink Floor!

Now that may not sound so bad since I love pink but it's only in one spot!!! DH decided to help color eggs last night and did a good job on the eggs but not so good a job on the clean up! ;) One bright pink spill! That stuff stains good!!! We wiped it right up but there is still a very faint pink stain. OOPS! Got some great shots of them all decorating tho! And some good shots of the pretty colored eggs too! Haven't downloaded those yet tho so will have to share later!

What is up with those Sox? They lost to Toronto again last night!!! Not good! They had BETTER turn this around and SOON!!!!

Got the shopping for Easter done last night and found out I need to return one thing! Darnit! So back to the store tonight. Nothing like waiting till the last minute! I am getting so bad lately!!! Don't know what is with me! I need to get back to my old organized self and quick!

Wednesday didn't end too Well!

Red Sox Lost and I messed up a build working late last night! That's what happens when I rush things! We had baseball practice till 6, I picked up pizza on the way home and then while rushing around getting everyone fed and then trying to start 2 builds and catch up on emails I typo-ed something and messed it up! UGH!!! Now I've got to do it over and hold everyone up! STINKS! I was up till 11pm working too so it was a long day and I'm tired today now and have a major headache! Oh yeah and it's raining! Yippee!

On another note, I got a surprise in the mail from my pal Lisa on 123. A belated bday present! Paisley stamps that I love!!! Thanks Lisa!!! They are awesome and I can't wait to use them! I've already got something planned out!

Hump Day Already?

You know how sometimes the days drag by and others the week just gets ahead of you? Well this is one of those weeks! Easter is Sunday, I have nothing for the boys to wear, no Basket shopping done and we haven't colored our eggs yet. They have been sitting in the fridge all boiled up and ready since Sunday!!! Then it was too nice out and the boys played basketball outside with Michael until dark and it was bedtime, then I had to work late last night, tonight is baseball practice, maybe tomorrow?!

I have a list a mile long and the wood for the floors came in so now it's going to be total chaos in our house! Well it's OK, cause I'm dying to see the finished product! We are doing Maple downstairs, up the stairs and hallway and Bamboo in our bedroom! Can't wait!

So Josh is feeling better today and went to school! Woohoo! I was not looking forward to going home last night as I was afraid of what the status would be. He looked awful, was still very tired and had a bit of a headache but then went to bed nice and early (after napping off and on all day) and when I woke him up this morning he said "I feel all better"! Music to my ears! Now as long as no one else gets it! I even forgot to call the school yesterday to tell them he would be out and I got a call from the Nurse at 11am! OOPS! Well he's there today!

So nothing else exciting going on in my neck of the woods! Hope you all have a Happy Hump Day!

I Doodled!

Yep, I finally got over the nervousness and just did it. It didn't come out exactly like I saw it in my head but I guess that's the beauty of doodling, it doesn't have too! At least I got over my fear and tried it! My little guy lost both of his front teeth a few days apart. Granted the 2nd one got knocked out with a Basketball but it's pretty cute to see him this way! So I'm home again today! This week it's Josh, last week it was Jake! I swear my kids haven't been sick so much in their whole lives as they have been this year! That stinking stomach bug has been making circles in this house! I can't wait till it's warm enough to turn off the heat for good and open up the windows and air this nasty germ infested house out! And I use Lysol all the time and wipe EVERYTHING with those Clorox wipes! Maybe I should let it get really dirty and see if a reverse effect helps! Mom is coming at noon so I can at least go into work for half a day! Thanks Mom!

I finished all 8 layouts using Cindy's new kits! I'm ready to print them out and make my little 123-Scrap Friends album! I'm so excited to see it in it's final form! Cindy did such a great job with these kits and I'm pretty happy with all my pages so I think it's going to be cute! Hopefully I'll get some yellow ink tomorrow and print it out and assemble it by the weekend to share!

Scrapped Last Night!!!

I just love when I get to play! I finished my very last Circle Journal entry! Woohoo! Gonna drop that baby off today and I'm done! I've already got mine back so no more worries in that round!

I scrapped the photos from the night Rachael and Melissa came over to play. I used the new Basic Grey Urban Coture! I love these papers because they have pink and brown in them course!!! I like the way it turned out, I cut out some of the big flowers in on of the papers.

Today I've got to clean! I didn't do it yesterday cause I went shopping in the morning, to a candle party mid day and then baseball practice in the afternoon. Busy day! Jake has practice today but it's at 11:30 and I should be able to finish before them if Michael ever gets out of bed! He never sleeps late tho so he must need it!

Man is the house ever quite! The boys are at Mom's, Michael is sleeping, the cat is not bugging me and all I can hear is my fingers on the keys! I think I may sneak down to the scraproom to fit in one more page! Have a great day!

I Got PINK Crocs!!!

Yep! Donna and Heidi have em and now so do I! And yes they are heaven! They are like walking on air! And yes they are as bright as they look and I LOVE them! Of course getting them out of the store was another story! We went to buy the boys Baseball and Soccer cleats and while they were getting fitted I went over to find my Croc size. When I brought them back over Joshua says "Mama you are NOT getting those!" I say "Yes I am" and with a horrified look on his face he says "But you always look so pretty and those will make you look ugly!" Nice huh? Well that doesn't sway me one bit and at checkout ($262.00 on shoes mind you later) we have a pair of pink Crocs in our bags! And a happy Mama! And yes I am wearing them proudly to work today! And my boys don't want to be seen with me as we get ready to leave the house! LOL! Wonder if that's gonna happen all day? Who cares! Not me! I'm loving these things and my feet are very happy too! So I'm all set if I take any Heidi or Donna classes at CKU Boston (which I doubt either one will even be there)! LOL!

Rachael has tagged me! The idea behind this tag is that you choose someone your admire or respect and highlight them. All of my good friends pretty much know exactly how I feel about them I think. I am also not going to pick someone out there in the superstar world that wouldn't know me from adam either tho. So who to choose!

She is one talented lady! Her pages are amazing and then wham, she starts designing these gorgeous kits! So she decides to start a business and sell them, and of course I am buying them! I even made my Christmas cards with one of them this year! Her Winter Wonderland kit! It's just stunning! Each and every one of her kits are divinely gorgeous! Oh and she has the most darling little girls which make her pages look even more eye capturing than could be possible! Yeah, and then to make me even more envious, she got to be on one of my all time favorite shows! Extreme Home Makeover chose her and a few other digi scrappers to do an album for one of their families! How cool is that! Yep, shows you how much talent this girl has! So yep, I want to be like Michelle when I grow up! And thanks Michelle for the inspiration! It was an honor to work with you for a short time and it's even more awesome that you are sharing your work with us out in the digi world now! Congrats on your success!

So did you see all the drama at ACOT yesterday? Boy am I glad I was not involved in that! Jeesh, I have shopped there a couple of times because Rachael told me about the site when she got on the Creative team but it looks like I'll stay away from now on. I so hate DRAMA and I avoid it at all costs!

So Cindy's got a new set of kits coming out on Friday! The Friendship Collection! It Rocks!!!
She made a kit named for each of us on the faculty at 123-Scrap and it has so much thought in it that I have no idea how she can have so much talent! I have used 4 of the kits so far. I'm creating a mini 8x8 album with it doing a page of each girl with their kit. So far it's coming out pretty cool I think. So Thanks much Cindy You are the BEST!!!

DST Stinks!

So who thought this was a good idea? Why can't we just leave it alone! Everyone was tired today! As if Monday's aren't bad enough! And of course the shower clock didn't get changed so it said 4am when I got in there, that made me feel really good! LOL! I do love that the days are longer but it takes me like a week to get used to that one hour! And the boys (including the big boy) are grouchy for even longer!

Man what a gorgeous weekend! Spring gave us a taste and now it's gonna rain and possibly snow! First baseball practice is tonight too! And RED SOX opening day is today!! Woohoo!!! Go SOX!!! I am hoping for a good season even though their spring training looked very bad! I do love baseball, so glad both boys are playing this year, hope we have a good season! Josh still has no clue what team he is on but Jake is on the Marlins and has got a great coach so that's a good start! He's really looking forward to it! I'm looking foward to more baseball photos! As if I don't have plenty to scrap. This is Josh's first year playing so there should be some great boredom shots! LOL!

I LOVE Fridays!

Especially when I only have to work half a day and from home to boot! No commute in traffic and then it's going to be a gorgeous day so I can open some windows and get fresh air instead of freeze my tush off like I do at work! And it's gonna be quite!!! Well except for the radio blaring my country tunes! Woohoo!!! Then at noon it's off for the rest of the day, I'm gonna run some errands and enjoy the weather!

We're pulling up the carpet in my bedroom this weekend, that should be a chore! I have no clue what I am going to do with all the stuff in my walk in closet! It's 5x10 and totally full! ACK!!! But we ordered the bamboo flooring so we have to get everything prepped for it to come in! Man I can't wait to see that down!

Gonna finish up my store samples today too, just have to run to get some ink that I need to complete the project and make the tea bag album and I'm done! I am going to use the new Crate papers http://www.cratepaper.com for that one. They are gorgeous! They even sponsored us at 123 and my for my CK Convention class! They rock!!! Go check them out! I have already done two pages and my CK class sample with two of their lines and I absolutely love the papers!

So now it's off to shower and get the boys up before I start work! Have a great Friday!

My Son's a Better Scrapper than Me!

So Josh is in the driveway playing basketball one minute and the next he's at the front door screaming his head off and there is blood everywhere! He made a basket and the ball came back down and whacked him in the mouth. Knocked his tooth almost all the way out. It's hanging on by a thread!!! Thing bled for like 1/2 an hour or more! Totally gross! So we finally get it stopped and he says his mouth is OK and of course he's more concerned with grossing me out by wiggling it around. This morning in the car Jake says to me "Mama, you should have taken a picture of that tooth"! Now of course I know by the end of the day it's gonna be out. So he says to Josh "Josh, make sure it stays in so Mama can take a picture of it!" LOL! Have I groomed my kids or what?

Another fun photo from my weekend! This one was up on the Junkitz Blog!! I saw it yesterday and was so happy to be included in the Junkitz fun! I did the CD Holder M&T with Janna's new papers and mentioned to Stacy that I read her blog so of course she wanted a photo for the blog! I was honored! Stacy and Kenny from Junkitz are the nicest people and they make the cutest couple! Kenny did a M&T at the Ranger table with me and I got a photo of him too!

Great Weekend Ending!

It was a terrific weekend! I am glad it's over tho! I got 4 hours of sleep last night! I will not be very coherent in work tomorrow!

That's none other than Tim Holtz! We did a very cool M&T at the Susan Gilman show using UTEE, some Distress Inks, Microscope slides and stamps that ended up as a pin. I also made about 8 other make n takes from other vendors. It was great!

Today we got all the ribbon ordered that I'll need for my Ribbon class at the CK Convention and the LSS owner where I teach ordered all kinds of fun new stuff from Ranger, SEI, Technique Tuesday, MSE and Creative Impressions. I can't wait for it all to come in! ;)

Then I came home to a beautifully painted Yellow Dining Room. Michael got it all done while I was gone! Now all we have left to paint is the kitchen! I am dying to get everything all done!

OK well I'm off to get the Josh man into the shower, and to get my PJs on so I can go to bed when the boys do at 8 sharp, I'm bet! Have a great night!

Hiedy Ho!

Melissa that one's just for you! ;)

It was a lot of fun last night, all the kinds were terrific, and got along great. Melissa, Rachael and I got some stuff done (Rachael paper scrapped!) and it was a good time! It was great to see everyone! Sorry Lesley couldn't make it but maybe next time! I will definitely have them back again even if they tried to corrupt me! :) I have all kinds of new stuff on my wish list tho! Melissa had some awesome Heidi Swapp stuff I want and Rachael had some new stuff I loved too so I want to go shopping!!! Rachael gave me a cool huge pin to use on a snow page (it's almost done) thats made by Around the Block I think and they are so cool! Thanks Rachael! Melissa has like every Heidi product out there so now I want a bunch of her rub-ons! I only got one circle journal entry done, another one started and a layout started but the visiting was way more fun anyway! We had pizza and margaritas and chocolate so it was perfect in every way! Once Rachael sends me the photos I'll share!

Now I'm off to do some housework before I go to see Tim Holtz! Happy Saturday everyone!

Yeah!

Woohoo! I am finally feeling better! Man it's been a rough week! My head is done throbbing and that big giant knot in my throat is gone! And just in time! Girls scrapping night is tomorrow night, Rachael, Lesley and (with lots of hope possibly) Melissa are coming over! Can't wait! Haven't seen Lesley in quite some time so am really looking forward to this! Margarita's and Cake for Rachael and me! Lots of Fruit 2-0 for Lesley and we'll just see which way Melissa goes IF she shows! HOLDING OUT LOTS OF HOPE FOR MELISSA!!! ;) The boys are looking forward to having playmates too cause Rachael is bringing her adorable kiddos! Jake and Josh liked playing with Dane and Dylan and they are all almost the same age too. I feel a bit bad for poor Megan tho, she's going to be so outnumbered! Poor girl!

Then Saturday I get to go to the Susan Gilman show and watch Tim Holtz do make and takes! How fun will that be! And then check out all the awesome Vendors on Sunday! I am psyched cause I checked out the Vendor list and Junkitz is gonna be there! Woohoo! I am just dying to see the new CHA stuff in person! There are also going to be a bunch of other great companies there and I've never been to this show so it should be so great! I'm going to meet a fellow on-line friend I've never met before too so that should be fun! Sandra (aka Scrapfreak) has been mentioned as Donna Downey's new best friend on Donna's blog so it will be very fun to meet her I'm sure if Donna liked her that much! ;

Oh and I did a digi layout from our Cape trip. It's of Carol's saving if a glass of wine from being thrown down the drain! It's Cindy Simon's new "Anything But Merlow" kit available at www.scrap2gether.com and the kit is just gorgeous. The colors are devine! Love it Cindy! Not that I'd ever even dream of adding another thing to my plate right now but I would love to be able to do it if I wanted to!

Blah Blah Blick

So no wonder I feel so bad, I have strep throat! I finally went to the doctor today. I should start to feel better by tomorrow now that I've got the good old z-pack tho! Gotta love throat cultures! Gag me while I'm down why don't ya! :) Well the worst is over at least!

Now for the best news! I just found out I get to go to the Susan Gilman show this weekend! How cool is that! I get to see Tim Holtz IRL doing M&Ts! I am stoked! I hear there are classes too but I'm not signed up for those. I'm just so excited to be going to the M&Ts! Seeing Tim Holtz in person creating is going to be so cool! I can't wait! I have always wanted to take a class by him but this will be just as great! Maybe I'll get a photo too!

Well I'm gonna go get comfy on the couch now. Early to bed tonight so I can get my butt to work tomorrow! I missed today so I could go to the doc. Well kinda, I worked from home!

Icky Saturday

Got up not feeling well today. It started out with a sore throat yesterday and went downhill from there. Now I've got it full force! I should have known being in a room full of 300+ women last weekend I'd get something! I should have brought the Airborne with me!

Baseball tryouts were this morning, Jake did really well and Josh did pretty good, better than I expected, and he didn't eat his glove the whole time which was a huge surprise! LOL! Then I came home and went straight to bed. Got up at 4:30! I never nap! Then work called so I'm doing quick build and then gonna have some dinner and head straight to the couch! Hopefully I'll feel good enough to clean tomorrow cause Michael is stripping wallpaper in the kitchen today and it's a mess! I even have new Crate papers and don't feel like scrapping! I must be sick!

Yeah Friday!

Man for a short week it was long! I'm so glad it's Friday! Here is another of my favorite photos from the Cape. This is in front of what they called my "Wall of Fame". It was a wall in the store full of pages by me. You can actually get a glimpse of Jake behind Andrea's head and my H3 behind Chris's! LOL! That cup I am holding is not coffee, it's a Watermelon Martini!

Baseball tryouts tomorrow. Spring Monday! It sure doesn't seem like it with the cold weather! I am looking for signs of Spring everywhere I can though! I did see buds on my magnolia! Hopefully I'll see crocus popping up soon too. Granted there is still snow in my backyard!

Class went well last night, I think they all liked it but didn't make any sales! ;) I guess I didn't push that paint and ink enough! Now I've got to figure out what I'm gonna teach April - June! Also got some of the new Crate Papers! Boy are they gorgeous! Oh and picked up some of the American Traditional Bohemian Chic line! (Love that stuff Rachael!) So hopefully I'll get some playtime this weekend. Gotta do my class stuff for the CK Convention! I have some ideas already, just have to get them on a two page layout and a card. The papers and the ribbons are terrific! Looking foward to teaching for the convention now just need to come up with something to their standards! Nervewracking!

To one of my faithful blog readers I dedicate this post! ;) I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!! After getting all that yummy Chatterbox paper maybe you can scrap the day away! ;)

I finally can post some Cape photos! This is one of my favorites! All of us on the beach. I am not happy with myself as always but love that we are all together so I will share it! That's Cindy on the left, then Carol, Chris, Andrea, and me in the blue sweater. This is Old Silver Beach on Cape Cod. It was a gorgeous 60 degree day. Carol even put her feet in the water! It was cold too! Another photo to share! ;)

It was such a fun weekend and I already miss my girlfriends terribly! I hope we can do this again!

Teaching a class tonight. I packed everything last night and hopefully didn't forget anything! Gotta love when I get to the store and have to purchase stuff because I forgot something! It should be fun since we get to play with paints, inks, chalks, distressing powers, and the heat gun! I need to come up with some good ideas for the next set of classes, anyone out there have any suggestions? Please comment if you do!

What Day is it?

I am so messed up! I thought today was Tuesday! Having Monday off really threw me off schedule! I can't complain tho because it made my bday weekend last a bit longer! I was able to get the laundry done, unpacked and a short nap in too! I'm still a bit tired from the weekend but I'll catch up eventually! I just need to get to bed early one night, not tonight tho, LOST is on!

Got all my layouts from this weekend that aren't at the store scanned last night before Idol came on and now I have to upload them tonight. I didn't realize I got 13 pages and a matchbook album done. I think I scanned 8 to upload. Not bad! Most of them use Basic Grey so there is some overkill there! LOL!

I keep forgetting to reload Photoshop on my computer so I can't share the Cape photos yet but hopefully tomorrow. There are some great shots! I already scrapped 2 of them when we were at the Cape because Carol brought a printer! It was fun being able to do photos of the event while at the event! I think I've decided I'm going to start a girlfriends album of all my get togethers with my friends since I've have a few of them now.

I'm back!!!

Whew! What a week/weekend it was! It started on Wednesday when I turned the big 4-0 and got so much better from there! Thursday I picked up Chris and Andrea (and after a couple delay's) Carol! It was so great to be together like that and so much fun! And then on Friday we packed up Michael's pickup truck (man that thing was full) and headed to Cape Cod to meet up with Cindy. It was so much fun and I got so spoiled that I'll be comparing every bday after this one to it!

I got a Z Becky Brown purse from Chris and Andrea. And then two altered frames from Andrea too! One was the awesome "Florida" one that she had published in the Creative Concepts magazine and the other is one that says Cape Cod and now has an awesome photo of the 5 of us on the beach in it. It's purple so it's in the scraproom! ;)

I got an accordian album and altered CD from Carol. The accordian album has photos of all the 123 Faculty and it's terrific! The CD is a friends CD.

Oh and Chris made the most awesome little box (pink and brown of course) with a mini album inside it all about friends! (Seemed to be the weekend theme!) It's beautiful! She said she got the box at the $ store! Man what that girl can do with stuff!

I also got money that I spent on the new Basic Grey and other stuff while at the Cape from Mom and Michael! The owner of the LSS where I work also gave me a ton of the Color Me Silly stuff for my bday! I was the first to get any of it because the stuff hadn't even been unpacked when I got it! ;) They also had a pink and brown cake for me and Becky (her bday is one week after mine) that was very yummy!

Oh and of course my bday balloons that were delivered to the crop room were so fun!

Then a package came from Wendy with an amazing lampwork bead bracelete, tourmaline necklace and a CD holder with a bunch of CDs in it that I had been wanting! I wore the bracelet and necklace all weekend even tho it didn't match every outfit! ;)

It was the best birthday ever and I wish I could spend it with my good friends every year! We are hoping we can do it again for Andrea's 40th! :)

No Time for Bloggin!

It's been crazy busy! Getting ready for Chris, Andrea, and Carol's visit and then our trip to the Cape to meet up with Cindy! My house is a big dust pit from all wood and sheetrock dust! UCK! I washed windows, curtains, and dusted yesterday all day and then painted on last wall. That's it other than the grocery shopping, cleaning and packing. We can't get anything else done before Thursday so the house will be in total disarray! Oh well! They aren't coming to see my house! ;)

We got our taxes done on Saturday, good ole Uncle Sam is taking another $2k from us! Yippee! As if we don't pay enough out! Can't wait to figure out where I'm gonna come up with that. So much for a refund! LOL!

I got 5 pages done for the store on Friday night and didn't have time to scan them before I brought them over Sat morning so those are not going to be in my gallery for awhile! Bummer too because some of the papers are so cool! Maybe I'll take my camera to the store one day and take pics of them since they will be there for a bit.

OK well I have to get to work, I'll only be there two days this week so I gotta make them count! Have a great Monday!

C-c-c-cold!!!!

The thermometer read a big fat ZERO this morning when we left the house!!! Yesterday it was 4! Man I have no idea why I live in New Hampshire except that the fact that I do love the other 3 seasons! Jeesh I'm freezing my tush off! It says it's 12 now, man watch out it's a heatwave! ;) Oh and guess what, it's gonna snow again on Thursday! Jolene, if you are reading this, you want it? ;)

OK the Cape is 10 days away!!! WOOHOO! But have I started to pack or even think about what I'm going to work on? NOPE! I have no clue! How bad am I? So yes I'll be bringing everything again! But I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun! And I probably wont get any scrapping done anyway! Told you I can think of nothing else! Well I also need to work in my room so how do I pack it? I have store samples to do and I want to get them done quickly but last night I had to work so that kinda ruined those plans. I did get 4 done on Sunday tho. Maybe a few more this week hopefully. Very fun new Wild Asparagus and Kaleidscope papers oh and Center City Designs! Can't wait to play with those! They are cool! One other mfg that I can't think of off the top of my head with some great colors and patterns. Love playing with the new stuff! The Sandylion dog stuff unfortuntely wasn't so much my style so that was more of a challenge for me but challenge is good sometimes! I am just not so good with stickers. LOL!

The boys are going to see Nanny McPhee today with the daycare. BYW, they loved the Pink Panther, thought it was very funny. I am so glad I don't have to take them to the Nanny movie too! LOL! I want to see the dog sled movie and my mom is taking them to that on Sat while we get our taxes done! So I'll be renting that one for sure, of course that will have to be when Josh isn't home because once he's seen a movie he narrarates the whole thing for you! ;) Oh and on that taxes thing, I could use lots of good thoughts for a refund and not owing please! Thanks!

Good Sunday Mornin'!

Well the snow has stopped finally! We got another 5 inches or so yesterday! Winter can go away anytime now! Michael is out plowing again so he is happy! The alarm went off at 3:15am and since I went to bed from scrapping at 11:30pm that was not a fun thing to hear! Well I never heard him get out of bed so I guess I went right back to sleep! LOL!

I cleaned house and then scrapped most of the afternoon since the boys went to mom's house. I got 44 Cards for Soldiers done!!! Way cool! I hope to do some more this morning before the LSS opens. Have to run over to get some stuff to do some page samples with new CHA stuff! FUN!

Vacation next week for the boys, I feel bad because I can't take any time off. One of the guys I work with is going to FL and I am off the most of the following week for the Cape. Oh well, I'm sure the daycare has good stuff planned for them anyway. Good thing they love going there! Mom took them to see the Pink Panther (well actually Joshua paid for them to go!) He's such a good kid! Used his xmas money and treated them all. I guess they thought it was funny, thank goodness I didn't have to take them because it didn't look funny to me!

Fab Friday!

I love Friday! The end of the workweek and the start of the weekend! Its going to be another busy one but that's OK! I have 3 circle journals to work on! Thanks Rachael! ;) And more home improvments but that is so much fun because I am loving the outcome!!! And Michael and I haven't killed each other yet, another bonus!

Two weeks from today and we will be at the Cape and with Cindy!!! Woohoo! I am sooo excited to finally meet her in person!!! Over THREE years of my life I have talked with this girl over the internet or on the phone almost every day! Man thats a long time to be friends an have never met in person!!! Cindy you better be ready for some craziness girl! ;)

I got some fun big white wooden letters to spell out the word SCRAP for my scraproom wall at Michaels last night. They are probably 12" and already painted so I can just hang them and do nothing with them! I love them! I have purple walls and white trim so I'm happy! I already have the CREATE letters that I altered so I'm thinking these will be just fine as is. I'm gonna hang them tonight to see, if not I can always alter them later. Once I get the new Chatterbox purple papers! ;) Last thing I want to do is get a long white shelf and put all my ribbons in mason jars. I love that look for color! Well decorating last thing that is! I still want to get cabinets and an island and remove the table. But that's for much later.

Random Babbles for Thursday!

Two weeks from today and I pick up the girls at the airport! Yippee!!! Of course that means that I will also be one day over 40 yuck! But I'm still stalking Cathy Z's blog to see her insight on that since she turns 40 on the same day as me! How cool is that??? Now how come I can't share in some of her talent too? LOL!

February is just flying buy! I can't believe it's almost the end of the month already! I am not complaining cause that means Spring is just around the corner! I just love spring, and the trees budding, flowers blooming, windows open, fresh air! Oh I can't wait! And for whats after spring, my favorite season of all SUMMER!!!

I finished all the review stuff I had to do in work yesterday! Man that was hard, writing feedback for my co-workers! I think that might be worse than writing stuff about myself. I hate to write the wrong thing! I also don't know what the heck they all do, we all pretty much do our own thing! Not very easy to provide feedback that way. I'm glad it's done for a year at least! Now to sit back and wait for my review to be given to me! Well I know I work hard and thats all that counts!

I have to start thinking about what I'm going to work on at the Cape! I really need to start packing up my stuff! I would like to plan better and not bring my whole room and end up with a ton of unused stuff this time. I brought so much stuff I didn't use in November. Granted I do want to have stuff for the girls that they may need since they are all coming on planes and can't bring a lot too. So maybe I'll just pack it all again! LOL! Decisions Decisions! I wonder if I'll even get any scrapping done! I think we'll be so busy having so much fun being together for the first time it will be hard! Well Chris, Andrea and I have been together at once before but add Carol and Cindy in and it's gonna be a huge gab fest! I am so excited about this I'm like a little kid!

Wednesday Already?

Woohoo! Isn't it nice when things are easy? My DH and I are total opposites, I mean really really opposites! And when you are redecorating that is not a fun thing. Well lo and behold, we are agreeing on stuff!!! How fun is that!! And man does it make things easy! So we picked out most of the stuff for the den/office and it's gonna look so great! Granted he hates the color I picked for the hallway but I think once it's all done he will change his mind. (I hope!) ;)

So everyone is back at school today, hopefully the nasty bug is gone for good! Jake was a bit iffy this morning but I can't stay home from work for iffy! Yep, I am working on that Mom of the Year Medal can you tell! ;)

I started making some cards for soldiers yesterday! Finally! I got a few done and have lots more to do with the fronts of old cards I've received as RAKs and such! I am going to recycle the fronts and make them into new cards instead of keeping them in my scraproom, got that great idea from a friend and I think it's the best! Sick Tuesday

Nasties going thru our house again! Jake has had a stomach bug since Friday and last night I started feeling yucky, couldn't eat dinner. Josh started complaining too. Now he feels better, I feel better and Jake is sick again! UGH! Not a fun thing, it comes and goes. Jake has it the worst tho so guess who I'm keeping my distance from! ;)

Two weeks from tomorrow I turn the big 40. Man what is so bad about that number? I have no idea why that is bothering me so bad. I think I need to start exercising and dieting again so I can feel better about myself and then maybe it won't be so bad? 40 just seems so stinking old! Sorry for those of you reading this that may be older! ;)

Not much going on but the nasty bug so I'll get off here and get back to work where I belong! Have a great day!

Happy Presidents Day

Nope I didn't have the day off, but I did get to work from home. Which was nice because that meant a day in sweats and no makeup! :) The boys had no school and daycare was closed so hence the day at home. And good thing too cause I didn't feel well most of the day. Worked out well!

My sweet husband drove an hour away after work to get a futon for me for when my friends come in 2 weeks! The thing is awesome, brand new and what a bargain too! He rocks sometimes let me tell you! Most of the time but dont tell him that cause he doesn't read my blog! ;)

I made my first canvas tonight. I started with a digital page I made that I printed out and went from there. I think it came out pretty good. Now if the person I made it for as a bday present likes it I'm golden! :) I used the Bluebells kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs to make the digi page, very pretty kit, and it was a charity kit too! I'd share it here but I'm not sure if my friend that it's for reads my blog so I can't until I give it to her in a couple of weeks! Sorry!

OK, I've got to go do some work, been doing a lot of that lately on my time off but that's the life of a release engineer! Have a great night!

Where have I been?

Man, I haven't blogged since Tuedsay and it's Saturday! And I get mad when the bloggers I read don't blog every day! Well no one reads my blog and if they do its not like they are gonna be left hanging from the last post so I think they will live! I mean I'm not writing for LOST or anything! ;)

Rough week! Lots of work to do, Jake was not feeling well, oh and then last night we lost power and it didn't come back on until 5am this morning. Man it was cold in here! We had 2 comforters, a quilt and a blanket on the bed. I slept in sweatpants and a sweatshirt and SOCKS!!! You have to know that I cannot have anything on my feet when I sleep so this was really something!!! Yeah, this morning the thermostat said 55 but I have no idea if it was right or not because I'm not sure if it works on electricity or not! LOL! But I do know it was darn cold! We normally keep the house at about 69.

Lots to do today, I had to get up and bake brownies for the Winter Carnival at school, they are having a fund raiser for a boy who has a life threatening disease that is called ALD (well that's the short version) the long version I can't even say nevermind spell! Gotta drop the truck off for a new muffler, clean house, and start stripping wallpaper in the kitchen to paint! Now that we found out the stair tread wont be in for a month off to the next project! :)

Oh and more big news! My friend Cindy has two new kits up at www.scrap2gether.com! Woohoo! Check it out under Artist Cindy Simon! They are called Torino (in honor of the Olympics) and the other is Rebecca Rose (in honor of her beautiful little girl). Very fun kits!

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope you are all sharing this day with someone you love! I made teacher gifts and a card for DH last night, yep very last minute because I realized I forgot those! I had everything else done weeks ago! ACK! And I also had to bake brownies for a party at the daycare because they decided at the last minute to have one! And I thought I was all prepared. So I'm going to make heart shaped pizza for dinner tonight. DH wanted to go out but like the over-priced roses that are out there the restaurants are also over priced on this holiday so I say we stay in! Plus the boys will love being included! It was either that or pink mashed potatoes with something slathered in Ah-So sauce so I vote for the homemade pizzas instead! LOL! I took photos of the boys wearing their red today so watch for some valentine layouts from shortly! Hopefully not as many as with THAT photo tho! ;)

Yippee, I went and bought some more digi kits today at the re-opening of the Shabby Shoppe. They have some wonderfully talented people over there and one of the kits I got was a Charity kit! How cool is that! Love that! I got 3 kits and some fun jewel elements that I am looking foward to playing with. It's funny now that I'm not forced to digi scrap I like doing it again! When I had to do it with specific stuff that was always too girly for me or for whatever reason it just seemed like too much work! I want this to be a hobby not work, I already have a job and one I get paid well for! ;) So now once the new CHA products hit the stores I'll be really happy! Oh and when my Home Equity Line financing goes thru! ;)

Blizzard is Over!

Lots of white stuff all over the ground but it happened on the weekend and I made it to work, there was school today, no delays and all is well! Well Michael is darn tired after plowing from 6:30am until midnight but he'll live! ;) Now that better be the last!!! Enough is Enough! Jeesh!!! That should be plenty for all the snowlovers out there right? Right! :) Comeon Spring!

The cyber crop at 123 was very successful! We got a few new members which was terrific! And they even came into the chatroom which was awesome! It's so fun to get to know new people! I got some stuff done but not everything I planned! I think the snow threw me off! I really was not happy with most of the stuff I did yesterday at all and I only got 3 layouts done all day! That is so not like me! But I'll blame it on the chatting! ;) Which is so much more fun anyway! So now to make up the prize packs and get those out in the mail this week.

I finally got my wooden letters for my scraproom altered! I have only had the things for like a year!!! I don't know why I was putting them off so bad they really weren't hard. Of course I think I was waiting for the perfect purple pattern paper but I finally just broke down and used some chatterbox I had in my room and now they are done and are sitting on my window sill. I think they look OK. Here is a photo:

Only three more weeks till the Croppin at the Cape and seeing Cindy, Andrea, Carol and Chris!! Woohoo!!! I can't wait!

HOLY CRAP! I KNEW IT WASNT OVER!

A flipping foot of snow is headed our way! I so hope they are wrong! Yeah Rachael I know you love it! Well I do not! For those of you who don't already know I do not like winter at all, I would not live in New Hampshire if I had my way I would live in sunny Florida! My husband has my house torn apart and now will be gone all weekend plowing so will get nowhere on that and I have 4 house guests coming in less than 1 month! YIKES!!!

Oh and now to recap my day yesterday! Poor Jake, we started off the day saying he was going to school, well that all ended when he tried to get his shoes on! Which I told him wheh he was getting ready was never gonna happen! But what do I know? So then it was a trip to the peditrician who then tried to get whatever was under his nail out, oh well that didn't go over too well. So she made us another appointment with a podiatrist. OK that went even worse!! Poor kid! Had to have some really cold stuff sprayed on his toe to pre-numb him, he did not like this at all, was very shaken up and then came the three shots of novicane. OK I felt like the WORSE mother in the UNIVERSE putting him through all that. I could not console him at all. He was very upset and even bit his tongue hard enough to make it bleed he was so scared! I could have cried but I wanted to keep him calm so I tried to keep talking to him and get his mind off of it. He ended up having a 1/4" long splinter under his toenail! Nasty!!! So now that it's out they think he will feel much better and that maybe the toe isn't even broken afterall! That was probably what was causing all the pain!

We did finally get out to celebrate Michael's birthday too, went and had a great dinner at a great Prime Rib place and the night ended on a good note with cake at home! :)

Never a Dull Moment!

So another trip to the Hospital is in store I think! This time for Jake not me tho! I think he broke his big toe! I know they won't be able to do anything for it so maybe they won't make me waste my time and the insurance company's money with X-rays. But he's home from school because he can't get his shoe on. I'm telling you this is too much excitement for one week. It's also my honey's bday today! Happy Birthday Michael! Love you!

OK, so this is for my pal Rach, no that is not this year, not even close! It is 16 degrees and the butterflies are not even thinking about coming out here yet! I'll be lucky if I see signs of spring in April in NH! ;) That photo is from last year actually. But I'm glad you liked it. It is one of my favorites too!

Lots to do today, and a hair appointment before we go out for bday dinner tonight so no dilly dallying with the blog stuff! Sorry! I know, it's not like I'm writing anything exciting anway! So happy Thursday!

ERs are Quiet on Tuesday!

Well at least the one I went to this morning was! I walked in, was the only one in the waiting room, went right in and was out in 2 1/2 hours and that was with an EKG, Chest X-Ray and all kinds of blood work! Yep, thought I was having a heart attack! Had chest pain and pain in my left arm this morning and yesterday so decided to call the doc. It wasn't major pain but enough to scare me since it happened more than once. He sent me over to the ER and all the tests came back fine except for some muscle problem in my back! Weird that muscle problems in my back could cause chest and arm pain but heck I'll take it! :) At 39 I'm not ready for a heart problem!

So the coolest thing happened last night! We are doing a Cards for the Soldiers campaign over on www.123-Scrap.com. You can see the details of the first round here: http://123-scrap.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4840. Well the first round had 350 cards and they were all gone in 2 hours!!! Amazing! last night I got an email from a soldier who received some of our cards from her fiance (she is in a different battalion than her fiance) and loved what we were doing. So much so that she asked if we would be willing to send cards to her battalion too! How cool is that! Very cool but we need more cards! So if you can get the word out to anyone I'd so appreciate it! Send all your scrappy friends over to the thread above to make handmade cards to send over to the troops PLEASE!!! Thanks a million!!!

Baby it's Cold Outside!

Back down to the 30's! Dang Groundhog! It snowed a bit this morning too! Yeah, I know Rachael you love it! pffffffffff! Come on Spring, fight the groundhog!!!

Michael ripped down part of the wall yesterday and got half the carpet off the stairs, I really need to photograph it so I can document the before and after! That will be the fun part! The messy house will be the not so fun part! ;) We picked the railings out and oh are they gonna look sweet! I'm so excited!

So am I the only person on the planet who didn't watch the Superbowl and hence did not see one commercial that everyone is talking about? I'm gonna have to watch a ton of TV this week to catch up! LOL! I keep hearing about the AmericaQuest one with the flies so I'm gonna really watch for that one! I don't watch much TV, only Lost and Idol so this is going to be tough!

I did a fun 3D page on Sat that used a ton of prima flowers, I am gonna do a digi page of it so I can use all those fun flowers of Christine Smith's this week! Gotta find the right photo for it! Am hoping to use one of the sponsor kits too so I can kill two birds ya know? ;)

I have to write my self-assessment this week for my review at work! Is this fun? NO! I am so not good at this thing! Any volunteers to write it for me? I'll send you chocolate, scrapbooking materials, whatever it takes! NO? Don't blame ya there! Well I better get to it! Have a great day!

Rain Rain Go Away!

Well I guess it could be worse, it could be the dreaded SNOW!!! But man, if it were snow we'd be burried! And at least it's washing away some of this white stuff! LOL! I can see grass on my yard now!

So the shopping trip was pretty uneventful, no luck on a futon, they cost about $850 so we know what we'll be spending at least but we did not find one we wanted. Also, no decision on the flooring yet because, no surprise here, we could not agree. I want Maple, Michael wants Red Oak. He thinks Maple is too light, well our house is so stinking dark I thought light flooring would be a great idea! Oh and we got paint samples, I love the colors, Michael thinks they are too bright, see a pattern here? Yep, we are opposites in every sense of the word!!! I did find a gorgeous bookshelf and chair I wanted for my office but of course that was not what we were shopping for so they stayed at the store! :(

I did some serious scrapping this weekend with the CHA samples, I brought 4 layouts and a card to the store yesterday and I did three more last night! I love when I can be productive! I did do pretty simple pages but I think people like that more than the really detailed layouts when they are looking at store samples, at least I hope so! Tomorrow I'll spend some time on my Digi Layouts for my February assignments.

Well off to do the cleaning and laundry I didn't do yesterday. Have a great day everyone!

A Shopping I Will Go!

OK, I've posted all my samples I got done last night. I didn't do too bad, got 4 layouts and a card done in 3 hours! Now I'm off to shower and we are going to look for a futon, paint and hardwood flooring! Can't wait to see all the samples! And bonus, the boys are staying with my mom so it will be so easy! LOL! No telling them to get off stuff, or stay beside us or telling them we are almost done, etc. You know the drill if you have kids!

I also don't have to clean the house!!! Michael is going to start ripping a wall down so it's gonna make some serious dust so why bother. I will clean the bathrooms but that's it! So much nicer than spending 4 hours scrubbing! It's going to be a great day!!!

Finally Friday!

It's been a long week! Two really bad days but I made it thru them! After they were over I see they weren't that bad afterall. Just seemed bad at the time. I am so glad the weekend is here!

We are going to look at hardwood flooring tomorrow!! I am so excited! I have wanted hardwood for sooooo long! I think we are going to get bamboo. It's so cool! At least for the master bedroom, and maybe maple for the rest of the places I want, which is almost all of the downstairs except the kitchen and then the hallway upstairs and the stairs. We'll see when we see the stuff IRL. Also have decided on the kitchen and hallway paint colors I think, well I should say agreed since I had decided and just needed the nod from the other half! ;) I think he is the only man who cares! He says I put too many flowers up and that it looks too girly if he doesn't say something and since 3 men (2 boys actually) and only 1 woman lives in the house it shouldn't be that way! Now really who cares if it looks nice? I happen to like flowers!

I made a new desktop for my computer out of My favorite photo of my guys and Christine Smith's instructions and her 2 Souls kit. So I am publically thanking Christine for that great kit and those very easy instructions to do this! Christine's kit is available at www.digitalscrapbookpages.com. Oh and if you want some flowers that look just like Prima's her "Passion for Petals" are too die for!!!

For everyone that knows me well, you've all seen that photo a million times, since I've scrapped it about 4 times! It's the one with the boys on Michael's lap and they are wearing the red shirts and sitting on the black couch. I know, time for a new photo! LOL! But guess what, you are gonna see that photo again cause my clipboard with it just got published!!! Woohoo! It will be in the Scrappin, Stampin, & Stationary April Issue!!!

Got some fun stuff from the LSS last night that she picked up at CHA! New Bazzill, Wild Asparagus, kaleidoscope, gorgeous giant ric rack, and some other new products that I can't remember the name of right now Sorry! But I'm gonna make some samples so I'll be sure to share in the 123-Scrap gallery hopefully tomorrow! ;)

Is it Friday Yet?

Yep, this week has stunk that bad! Yesterday big fight with DH, in the morning and the day kinda went downhill from there. Then this morning Josh forgot his backpack so I had to go all the way home to get it for him and that made me way late for work cause the traffic is much heavier the later it gets! Then all heck breaks at work today! So it's only noon time and it feels like it should be 5! Yikes! Good point is that I have to leave early for a neurologist appointment today so I won't have to deal with it much longer! :)

One more week till out big 2 year birthday bash at 123-Scrap. I've got to get crackin on my sketches and other things I've got planned! Our crops are so much fun and we usually have a great turn out so I hope this one is the same! We have some terrific prizes donated from a few people so the members should be happy!

Oh here is the highlight (well kind of) of my day yesterday during dinner conversation between myself and my 7 yo Joshua:

Josh: Mama don't eat the rice, it's too hot (in a softer voice and so are you)

Me: {in a shocked voice} What did you just say?

Josh: The rice is wicked hot and so are you!

Family: Bursts into a fit of laughter

Josh: It would have been much funnier if you didn't ask me to repeat it!

So while it was very nice of him to compliment me like that I'm left wondering why my 7yo knows what hot is! Yes I will do a scrapbook page about this one! Too bad I didn't think to get a photo of him with the plate of rice! LOL!

What an exciting Wed! Well some of it happened yesterday but I already posted my blog updates so I get to talk about it today!!! My good friend Cindy Simon debuted her very first Digi Kit at www.scrap2gether.com! It's a great kit called Manhattan Loft. Congrats to Cindy and may your new venture in the digi world be very successful!

Second big news was that Sweet Shoppe Designs opened up today, two friends Rachael Giallongo and the afore mentioned Cindy Simon are on the Creative Team there!!! Go Cindy and Rachael! I went over to check the site out first thing and bought 5 kits! They have some awesome deals for their grand opening and some wonderful designers!!! And of course seeing Rachael's and Cindy's wonderful work didn't hurt to help me spend! ;)
