The boys have a half day today and they are out for the summer! They are pretty psyched! I am taking the day off, picking them up and taking them out for ice cream! A terrific idea I got from my good bud Rachael! Then they are both invited to a pool party celebration from 2-4 and then it's the big Championship game for Josh tonight! Man I hope they win!
The boys swam in the WT Pool last night. If you need to know what the WT means leave a comment and I'll email you. It may offend someone so I best not type it out here! Anyway, it's one of those above ground pools that isn't a real above ground pool, it kind of looks like you blew it up! You can buy them at Wally World and they are soft sided. They have this cheap filter/pump with them and this really flimsy ladder all in the box for $200! But that's what the boys wanted to spend their allowance money one so it's now taking up a 16' circle in my backyard! Usually I'm pretty picky about how the yard looks but since this year between the rain and all the sports I haven't even weeded or put mulch down never mind planted flowers I'm not saying much about it! :)
Anway, that's it for me, I've got to get the boys up and go shower. Have a great day everyone!

I'm totally stealing that icecream idea too. It's such a cute tradition to make.
I'm still laughing out loud at your WT pool comments. Just think of how many hours the boys will be occupied. ;)
And here's an extra cheer for Josh for tonight's game. Go Josh Go!
Have a blast with the pool! The boys will LOVE it!! You'll love the photo opportunities! Enjoy the yummy ice cream! Best of Luck with the baseball games this week!! Cheering lots of fun and do your best for Josh!! Go team!!
You are such a good mom Pam! The boys are lucky to have you. Now you have me curious at what WT stands for. LOL! Take some cute pool pictures and turn them in to Heidi Swapp. She has a link on her blog. She is choosing someones pictures to scrap.
Hey, Rachael has one of those pools in her backyard; just what are you trying to say?! The ice cream tradition is definitely a good one; I wish I could join someone for it, but I am so busy trying to pack up my classroom to move down the hall, that I think I will be at work all week! But next week, I will be SO READY for summer vacation!
How did the games go?
What flavor ice creams did you all have? Did you go to Moo's? Mel's?
How did the baseball game go??
