Nope, not degrees like last week, pounds! In my first week on my official diet I've lost 3 pounds! Only 20 to go! LOL! I hate getting old. I used to be able to eat anything and not gain a pound. My metabolism started to slow down right around the time I stopped hairdressing and got a desk job. Imagine that! ;) Anyway this past summer I went off of a migraine preventative medicine that has one huge side effect - WEIGHT LOSS! I loved that side effect. Well the other side effect I guess it can do liver or kidney damage (I forget which one) over long term so my neurologist wanted me to stop taking it. Well I did and within a few months I gained 20 pounds and am actually more than I was when I started taking it! ICK! So Jan 2nd was the start of my diet but we are doing A Biggest Loser contest at work so the 3rd was my "Official Weigh In" day. Let's hope next week it's another negative number! ;)
Happy Thursday!

congratulations Pam! That's awesome!
Whoohoo!!! That's a terrific start! You will be my motivation. :-)
Well done my friend! You know, I always remember you saying you needed to lose that last 5 pounds and I was curious why all of a sudden you thought you needed to lose 20. Now I understand. Birth control contributed to my weight gain in my 20's but I have no excuse for why it's still there.
Way to go, Pam!!! :-)
YEAH YEAH YEAH - that is wonderful!!
Keep it up - I'll be cheering for you from here!!

Congratulations Pam!
I'm down 3 pounds too...yay us!
Hi, Pam!
Congrats on the 3 lbs., that's awesome! So much better than hurting your kidney or liver, that's just scary! Good luck and hope you win the contest!
Great job! That's more than I've lost busting my butt in 6 weeks. Care to share how you are doing it with those of us who aren't as big of a loser as you???
I think I gained what you lost! Oh well, it keeps my face a little rounder and then it's not as wrinkly!
Good job...keep up the good work.
woohoo!! Congrats!! Keep it up!
Pam,
Hi! Thanks for the great suggestion of iron artwork, and for the e-bay link, that was so nice of you! I think those are really beautiful, definitely a possiblity! I'm sorry about your dog, it is just so hard to let go of them , isn't it? We will all be a basket case the day that Charlie goes, hopefully (knock on wood) won't be for awhile yet. Hope you have a great weekend!
