The insurance company finally approved my MRI!!! I have no idea when it will be yet but we are headed in the right direction! YAY!

I scrapped on Sunday. Got one whole page done before a nasty stomach bug kept me on the couch whining. Here is the one page I got done:

It snowed again here in NH. Thankfully school is not cancelled and we only got 3 inches or so. I guess we had to be reminded it’s still winter or something, I mean we haven’t had a storm in like 3 weeks! Happy Thursday all!

Happy Valentines Day

So I woke up to this this morning: 

Yes that box of candy does say Princess and those ARE green M&M’s. And then he said bye and went to work. I cleaned house and did some CT assignments. Now I’m trying to decide whether or not I want to go take a nap.

Oh, I had breakthrough with my knee yesterday! After almost 5 weeks the swelling finally went down and my right knee is almost the same size as the left. I’m not sure if was the E-Stim/Ice from PT or just time but I’m happy. It still hurts but as long as I’m careful it’s pretty much fine. I am hoping by mid next week I’ll get my approval to get the MRI to find out if I need surgery.

It’s a long weekend for me but not the boys, Michael has to work and our town is making up a snow day so I’ve got the day to myself. I may just heat up my scrap room and head down there for the day now that I’m off the crutches.

I’ve Had It!

Off to the doctors AGAIN. I was doing my exercised that the Physical Therapist gave me to do at home last night and I tweaked my knee so bad that I am back on crutches and in pain. I am so tired of this. I hope THIS will finally make them realize I need the MRI. I’m tired of going back to work and then taking days off because of something like this. I just need to find out what the heck is wrong and get it fixed already!

Yesterday was DH’s bday. Luckily we went out to dinner on Sunday night because last night’s spaghetti with stuffed meatball dinner and bday cake was cancelled since he had to go out to do an emergency job. We plan on doing it tonight but between my knee and his work schedule who knows. He does love the GPS I got him so there was one good outcome of yesterday!

Other than that, not much else new here. Hope everyone is well!

Birthday Memories

The SSD Blog asked us to blog about a memorable birthday. Mine will always be my 40th. There is nothing that I think will ever top it. 4 of my close girlfriends from all sides of the US (CA, FL, TX, NY) came to celebrate with me. We went to a scrapbooking crop on Cape Cod. It was definitely the best birthday I’ve ever had. We laughed and talked and ate and even scrapbooked a little. The weather was gorgeous for March on the Cape and I couldn’t have asked for more. Here is a photo of the 5 of us on the beach…
